Is this thing on?
Hey everybody! I know I've been MIA other than FB and texting with a few members for a few months now. Just wanted to pop in and say hi. My son lost his job at the end of April and we inherited all of his bills, which resulted in me going back to a regular insurance job at Allstate inside Planet Ford, working really weird hours (open 9am-9pm), and not leaving much time to devote to my HFB family lately due to being completely exhausted.
All 12 of my tanks are still doing fine with the exception of the 75g Demasoni setup. They're systematically picking each other off one by one. Out of 35 I'm down to FIVE! Time to find them a larger group to be with before there's none left, I've just been putting it off. Breaks my heart to come home every few days and find another victim. :/
On the upside, once I figure out what to do with the Demasoni, hubby has given the OK for me to get an Arowana & another Bichir. Yay! Probably gonna start small and grow them out in the 75g unless I come across a hell of a deal on larger ones that the Oscars won't eat. Those would be some expensive snacks, lol.
Anyhow, just wanted to say hi to everyone. Planning on going to the GHAC meeting this month since it's in my neighborhood and I can crawl home, lol. See ya there!
