So my neighbour is filthy, big weeds, long grass and some junk in the back yard. This guy ate my tomato plants (not my Jalapeno plant though!)

Is this just a "normal" rat or what ? Ive never seen a rat in real life before, it doesn't have big ears like I see on Google image search.
