At the rodeo, of course! And I'm not happy when I'm fat. Love Cali food cuz it's fresh and locally grown/caught, tastes great, still healthy, normal portion sizes haha..... And the weather is nice enough to be active and outdoorsy. Just come visit! I'll fly you guys out after I'm settled!

Come on Bee the rodeo isn't normal fare. And just because you get a plate full doesn't mean you have to eat it. That's on you lol

I was more commenting on the lack of widely available and affordable fresh, healthy, tasty food. There's a reason why this place is so highly ranked as the country's most obese city!

There's plenty of farmers markets here with good fresh veggies and Houston's only ranked that way due to the fact people choose to eat unhealthy

Sigh. Ok. I give up! I just want to live where the weather is awesome year round, the majority of folks are active and CHOOSE to eat healthy (and thus the catering of food service to that market), and where I can take care of my parents and extended family.

Hey I ain't knocking it if cost of living wasn't so high in cali I would consider moving back myself it's always good to be close to home and family if cali's where the heart is that's where the B needs to be

True that. But I'll be moving to the Central Valley where the cost of living is very similar to Houston, inside the loop (lol). Except that pesky state tax that keeps the roads smooth and the landscape pretty. :)

This is a very polluted area. The air quality is the pits. The industry and weather patterns we have here lends to it being like this. I'm not complaining because sampling, analyzing and monitoring the environment is how both my wife and I make our living.

Yeah the food could be fresher and the portions could be smaller. One of my kids went to the big farmers market and brought home a trove of good fresh fruits and veggies. We could all stand more of this in our diets.

Love you Bee. Yall keep making arguements like liberals your hating on Houston because of lack of self control. Lol I hate houston too but not because of the food, I miss Austin. So much cleaner except those hippies. Nice thing about Austin is its liberals in a sea of red so they are somewhat kept in check. Cali is liberals in a sea of blue so they go crazy.

I digress when will you find out if you get the gig?

You all have it easy, food is cheaper and fresh food is more accessible than where I came from (New Mexico). Air quality is worse, nothing but ragweed and cow crap in the air to screw the asthma over.

Houston area is awesome. I was offered a job in California before I came here, I've never been to the area though. If the County closes my job down, who knows I may be.en route to California too :/
