OK, but no bashing people, ok? Just bash candidates...that way there aren't personal feelings hurt LOL!

"Do you think that Clinton or Obama will sit in the White?" Nope

"Do you think Obama could lead the US better then Bush?" Nope

"Do you think Clinton could lead the US better then Bush?" Nope

"Which Repulican do you support?" Not too sure, but one that isn't a RINO (Republican In Name Only) LOL!! I'll have to do more research though.

"Are you for troops staying in Iraq for another year?" Yeah, they are doing some really good stuff over there!

mrairportjunke...if you state a personal opinion on a candidate, and someone takes offense, they are out of line and out of luck in life's great lottery. Discourse is the lifeblood of a political structure, as well as the maintanance of freedom (such as it is); opinions should lead to give and take discussions on a subject allowing us to add to or refine our own take on a particular subject (like craaazy Obama or Slick Hillary).

Of course, if you actually were to disagree with me, then you would of course show yourself to be a Pinko cretinous doodlebug who shouldn't be allowed to pollute a political discussion with your feeble-minded blathering. Other than that, feel free to express an opinion...

Since we have a diverse group on this site....

Do you think that Clinton or Obama will sit in the White?   Sadly yes - because I believe to many will vote democrat (ie party line) believing that it will best for our nation.

Do you think Obama could lead the US better then Bush?  I personally dont think he would be any better or worse.  I think he would be better on some areas, but far wrong on others.

Do you think Clinton could lead the US better then Bush?  See above.  If I only had Clinton or Obama to vote between I would rather have Obama over Clinton.

Which Repulican do you support?  McCain

Are you for troops staying in Iraq for another year?   Troops are to stay, assisting rebuilding the country.  I know it is going to be a hard and long time in doing this but when you are attempting to rebuild a rich nation who has a large number of people in poverty its never going to be easy.  So many including those fighting the US believes that a fast resolution is the only one that will resolve the issue.   Another issue is that media plays a HUGE role in how the war is fought and won, we as a people fear death, but listing to the many positives that have occurred over there is expected therefore its not something that is worth reporting about.  My example lies the fact, the news every day in Texas does not report "again I would like to say we are sorry for the average of 13 deaths that occurred on Texas roads yesterday 50% of them by the hands of drunk drivers".   I remember news when I was growing up reporting news that was nice to listen to.. now all we junkies ever want to listen to is how bad the situation is and it takes up 90+% of the news these days.  With all this negative influence we dont know what is really going on.  I have traveled to 38+DC of the 50 states, yet people who have not seen more than Houston and the surrounding 150 miles are telling me how bad things are in other cities when they dont even know or have seen other places to make a comparison.  I have been to India where I saw poverty so bad, that my Dad told me see that baby being carried by her sister... that kid is paralyzed from polio, and when she no longer can carry the kid it will be left in the corner to die because its to young to beg for food.. Only the strongest survive.

There are plenty of things going on in the world we are not seeing, yet again we have a fine understanding of what we dont like about it.  Ask this question when you read about Iraq or other places... is the news reporting everything from both sides ?  no only the side the editor in charge wants you to read.

Sorry for my ranting..  I cannot even vote in this country (green card holder) so you dont have to listen to me, but I use the fundamental right to state my opinion which in many countries today still is not allowed.

                    Re: Election 2008

                    *******************************     RON PAUL     ***********************

I don't know much about the media's pretty boy's like Mitt Romney and Barrack Obama, to me they pretty much sound like the usual politician who says he can fix us up just fine, just elect him, but they have no real track record to speak of. Obama is a junior senator if I'm not mistaken and really dosent' have much going for him other than the fact he is articulate and black, wow....impressive creditials to say the least...
                    And,
I have heard so much negative comments about Hillary's background with "Slick Willie" and the loan scandel of the eighties, and then there's her not too impressive record in congress where she votes for all the other programs that seem to have the country headed towards a depression at the moment, so, I wouldn't vote for her either.

Ron Paul on the other hand is a ten year veteran of congress, and has never voted to raise taxes, not once according to my research has he taken advantage of his duties or position in congress. He speaks about getting rid of the IRS and bringing our troops home from overseas, both fine ideas if you ask me.
He would like to have less overall government offices running our lives and seems genuinally concerned about the right of the people to live our lives in peace and without more government to watch over us.

Brief Overview of Congressman Paul’s Record:

He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

He does not participate in the lucrative congressional pension program.
He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

Congressman Paul introduces numerous pieces of substantive legislation each year, probably more than any single member of Congress.

I will vote for RON PAUL this time around, I can't see a vote for anyone else making any changes to this country, I believe DR. RON PAUL can make a difference in our lives.

All the other repub's are for the war and gun control....not much choice there.....and remember, all of them during the 2 debate, where FOR nuclear strikes against a foreign country should it be deemed necessary.....ah...hello....we have to have a declaration of war before we can do that....i'm pretty sure.....??

RON PAUL is also pro life and totally against ever using nukes.
