Pappas Seafood off I-10 East

Ok gang, had dinner with my mom and my two aunts tonights. They have this saltwater set up in the middle of the resturant ( maybe 10x3x3). Anyway that had a huge grouper in the tank. Poor thing could barely swim in the dang tank. Plus they had a_____( the fish that attached to sharks ) that was about 36 inches long.  I was getting pissed...I will not be going there anymore!

hey D.....for one thing....it's the area of I-10.....they believe in torture and crowding issues on that side of town big guy.....let it go.....just let it go....or better yet send an email to their corporate offices and complain.....there ...yeah.....the power of email....it works wonders i say!!!!!.....

I feel ya, delock.
You had to eat there with fish abuse mere feet away, and there is no excusing pain through ignorance.
I agree...a comment to someone here or there might bring the light of scrutiny on the ignorant fool who doesn't mind animal abuse.
I've been in several restaurants over the years with beautiful aquariums that pleased and amused the customers, which is the main reason they are there. Someone aware that they were upsetting the customers would hopefully take steps to remedy the situation.

BTW...Remora fish cling to sharks and feed on the leftovers.

hell send them my address, tellem to pull that grouper out,  filet his big *** and bake or broil or grill him and send him to me.  
i know what you sayin though. i hate when they do that. but isnt pappas owned by landrys?  if so email them, they should be conservationist and fish lovers in a sick way.  they have seafood restaurants but they also have the aquariums.

Well Pappas called me a few minutes ago.

Apparently, the lady I talked to yesterday spoke to the company fish guy ( I should haev gotten the name) anyway the grouper will be moved soon to a larger tank that "someone" is building.

I will go by there in a couple of months to check..
