HEY no offense. lol. i need some help. i have a external harddrive that has a regular computer harddrive in it that was partioned into like 9 partitions. it is a 90gig hdrive. i want to get rid of the partitions. how can i undo the partitions?? its in an external hardrive setup right now.

You can do it within Windows.
Plug the ext hard drive into your machine
Open Computer Management
Select Disk Management under the Storage section
You should see the Disk and the partitions. You can right-click on each partition and select 'delete partition' from the pop-out menu.Our Fishhouse

You on XP? Computer Management can be found either by right-clicking on the My Computer icon and then clicking Manage on the pop-out menu, OR Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management.
And you can get rid of the user login by going to Control Panel > User Accounts, then click 'change the way users logon and logoff', then deselect the checkbox 'use the Welcome Screen'.Our Fishhouse

You sure you got all the partitions?
Try formatting the drive. Same place as you deleted the partitions. You should have an option to format the drive.Our Fishhouse
