Do you have a 9mm pistol length AR or full length?  Who is the manufacturer of yours?  I'm looking at a pistol length and converting it to a SBR (short barrel rifle)....the main issue is the tax to register it.  But other than that, I think it would be a lot of fun in a shorter length weapon.  I have seen the .22lr AR's but I don't know if anyone makes a dedicated weapon in that caliber or if they are all conversions.  The 9mm that my friend has is a Bushmaster and is designed from the factory that way and not a conversion kit.

I have the colt 6450 which is a full length carbine.....after my sbs goes through I plan on sbr'ing and suppressing the 9mm.

As for the .22LR
DPMS offers a full upper for your lower which is nice...I believe Bushmaster does too but they aren't as nice IMO. I plan on piecing together my own .22lr SBR AR15 and since I have a suppressor already for my other .22's it would be a blast to throw it on the end!

I have 5 Acogs....

The 9mm has the carry handle acog and its only 2x.....TA44R-2
The SBR sports the TA31A which is 4x solid triangle
