  • Getting out of the hobby...

Well, it's finally happened, sad to say...
I have decided to get out of the hobby; it's gotten to be too much for me to maintain my tanks and fish. So...

Everyone is invited to my First Annual April Fish Fry, to be held at my new house!
The address is 61 Reisner St. (right off Memorial at Houston Ave.).
I will be serving my famous Sailfin Filets, as well as several delicious side dishes...my Pleco Patties are to die for, and no one has ever had a tastier Cory Salad than mine.
I plan to make my Angel AuGrautin Menieure Almondine, but quantity is naturally limited.
So come with an appetite and bring your own toothpicks!
(I used all mine making the Deviled Egg hors d'ouveres...stuffed with Deviled Platy Pate!)

Please RSVP at (713) 555-1212, or Email: Philbert >1st.aprilfishfry@getreel.net
The date is April 1, 2008, all day!
    See you there!

Re: Getting out of the hobby...

I will be inviting everyone for a stay at my new digs tonight.   Please all congregate at 701 N San Jacinto St
Please be patient with the staff, they are not aware of you all showing up, and they only allow people who have a reason to there.
They will all be more than happy to book a room for you, but they do not allow single occupancy so it might be crowded.  Their food service is not the best either, but I have been told that everyone will get served.
Please understand parking is down the road at 1400 Lubbock, and they have excellent parking there, including facilities to remove your car if overstaying your visit :)

Tell them you are here to see the tank up on the fourth floor, and please remember bring your own beer.
As a last reminder.. I will be there late.. if you get there before me book yourself in, take a seat, make yourself at home.. I promise if all goes well I will be there shortly. :)

Hmmm...you seem to have a disconcerting familiarity with the booking process.

Somehow I knew this would come up.. but luckily I have yet to have ever had a warrant out for my arrest, much less a need to ever visit the facilities as a guest..  I have in my life only had to pick up someone from jail once and she was an idiot who believed the 18yr old who said, look honey I borrowed my Dad's car, lets go to Galveston.   Guess who she called when she landed in jail... yes me...
