What is the future of hobby forums

As was said Fish box has knowledge easy to find and use if needed. Face book? We are all there. But it's sad to think, I may be one of the last Dagon's to come from fish box.

Well im not there, I think Facebook Groups suck, hand out crappy advice, and are a never ending source of drama, and abuse by the "Group" Admins.

There is no doubt that Facebook and maybe others have robbed the good old forums of members, but i for one will go down with the ship. I even built a new forum just in case anyone like me still wants a place to go. :)

But based on the amount of traffic, and new sign ups i would say thats just a wasted effort. People are too lazy to spend 2 minutes with registration, just read what they want and move on.

I dont get it ?? This is a fantastic site, well established, owned by a real sweetheart, yet it has gradually turned into just classifieds ?

Where are all the folks that like to talk fishy ??
