Re: ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS BOXER PUPPIES?
ok thanks for the replys. i will let yall know how it works out. found a rescue or sorts. a lady i found is a boxer breeder. she breeds and shows them. Im gonna go check out her place next week and all that. What research i have done on her so far is shes on the up and up. She has a white male boxer that is neutered, papered, and microchiped. He was sold to a couple as a family pet and they wife didnt like him so they returned him to the lady. hes almost 2, fully house broken, loves kids, cats, and small dogs. And no not for dinner. lol. She said that hes not a rescue like abused or anything. people paid 1000 bucks for him and then didnt want him after havin him for a couple months. so he came back to her. im gonna go check out her kennels and everything next week and pick him up the week after. if i dont get him. ill probably call the lady who PMd me back about one. thanks

That's great!
I was tempted to suggest looking into Boxer rescues around the area, but since you said not to say anything about the adoption thing, I didn't. :) If for some reason this one doesn't work out, there is a Boxer Rescue (I think it's called Lone Star, or something) and I'm sure they have dogs/puppies who are in similar situations as the white one. Good luck! And post pictures whenever you get one!"Millennium hand and shrimp!"

Re: ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS BOXER PUPPIES?
I've heard white boxers are considered "undesirable" to the breed because many of them are deaf or carry deaf genes. A couple I know found a stray one, but ended up giving it up. I'm sure whatever color, they make just as fine pets and companions as their "colored" siblings. Just something I thought was interesting.
Good luck!

White boxers are just as amazing pets as a fawn or brindle dog and you would be more than happy with either.

Re: ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS BOXER PUPPIES?
yes the white hair is a weird reason that alot of breeds are deaf that are white. weird. by the way i did look at the lone star boxer rescue. problem is they pick the dog for you not u pick the dog. they come to your house, interview you, and bring dogs over and they pick the one they want you to have not you getting to pick. so i told them that if they wanted me to adopt one im picken and noones comin to my house or they can go to hell and have better luck findin another fool. its a dog people. not a freakin endangered animal or something.

Be very careful purchasing pups at this time. The parvo cases are starting to trickle in. Soon, we'll be seeing 4-5 cases a day. :(PLECOS SUCK!

Re: ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS BOXER PUPPIES?
i have been breeding and showing apbt's for 13 years and i worked as a vet tech for 2 years parvo does not effect pups according to the time of year you just have to buy from a breeder that keeps a clean yard and vaccinates his dogs. parvo is a very nasty disease and it is highly contagious even a fully vaccinated pup can get parvo if it comes in contact. the only thing that kills parvo is bleach not hot weather or cold weather. boxers AKA walking tumor factories are funny and pretty dogs but unfortunately they do have many health problems.

The Heights is a slum? 8O
BTW, I have seen people on a budget who take excellent care of their pets, and wealthy people who shouldn't even own a pet rock! :?PLECOS SUCK!

Wow, I never knew my neighborhood was considered a slum 8O . I have five lots for sale there for about a half mil, anyone want to write me a check for them?
I will do without personally if one of my pets needs medical attention. Prevention is the key, vaccinations and regular exams.Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...

Re: ANYONE KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS BOXER PUPPIES?
I know opinions are like belly buttons.....everyone has one.....but I've just retired from breeding and showing purebred dogs after 39 years. PLEASE, PLEASE do your homework BEFORE you vaccinate your dog. And, PLEASE do not feed ANY commercial foods. I've raised more than 15 litters on low vaccinations and raw food and I do not have sick animals. All of my top winning Specials were raised this way, traveling all over the US and numerous countries in Europe and none were ever ill or sick.
I know all this may go against everything you know but I would NEVER steer you wrong. If you'd like more information, please feel free to contact me privately and I'll do everything I can to educate you. It's really simple and easy and less expensive, and your dog will LOVE you for it.
