I know all this may go against everything you know but I would NEVER steer you wrong. If you'd like more information, please feel free to contact me privately and I'll do everything I can to educate you. It's really simple and easy and less expensive, and your dog will LOVE you for it.
EC
We may have different approaches, but the goal is to have a healthy dog. As long as it works that's great for the owner and pet!
From 1968 to 1981, I raised and exhibited Old English Sheepdogs. From 1982 to 2007, I raised and exhibited Chinese Shar-Pei. In addition, I've owned or pro-handed Bullmastiffs, Dobes, Pugs, Corgis and Schnauzers. Many, many thousands of miles I've traveled but it was exciting and very lucritive. I guess it's been 40 years and not 37......"the mind is the first thing to go"!
Sorry...I thought it was OK to send my first message since many others had, too.
LOL, you're ok EC, things get off topic around here in the blink of an eye  . Gosh, with all those breeds you raised, I never had one of them myself. I seem to end up with strays and foster dogs, but they have all been great pets. I do keep my dogs vaccinated as most of the boarders I know of will not keep a dog if they're not current on their shots.
Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...
Yes, that is a problem but with a in-home pet-sitter, you'd not have to inject more harmful chemicals into your pet.
Just for the record.....did you know that ONE Rabies vaccination will keep a dog immune to Rabies for it's entire life? FACT! So why do the Vets and our government force us to have it done yearly or every three years? $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ TRUE! Did you know most commercial foods are made from roadkill and animals which have died of diseases? FACT! Did you know that corn and rice have NO nutritional value whatsoever for dogs? They are merely 'fillers' which keeps production costs down so they can profit from high prices. Would they eat corn and rice if they lived in the wild? NO! They would get pre-digested nutrition from the stomach and organ meats from animals and leave the meat and muscle for last. TRUE! Did you know most skin and thyroid problems found in pets are a result of the food they've been fed and NOT inhalant allergies or genetics? TRUE! Did you know most temperament issues in pets stems from thyroid issues and NOT poor training or breeding? TRUE! I could go on and on and on.
Talk about 'passion'...........I love my dogs and have made it nearly a lifetime job to see they live long and happy lives.
ya the slums normally have more sick dogs then the nicer parts of town where people take care of there pets
You must be from New York City! :) One would think that someone from the non-slum area of town would have been taught better grammar. Just goes to show.
I love it when people have to resort to name calling! :naughty:
