Happy Earth Day to all.

What are you planning to do?

Girlgeek and I will probably commute to work together to start. Since we both will be working from home we will save double on gas with our commute to the couch

We have a tree that we want cut down but I guess that wouldn't go along with the whole theme of the day. But we thought about it.

well i guess i'll just put my large pleco in the pond at my job for the summer and let him clean up the annoying algae in there....

Not cut the grass?  

Drink coffee direct from the pot instead of using styrofoam cups.

Cut back on the beans.

Wear skates or get a skate board and hitch a ride to work.

Run a generator configured to run on kid power, Just feed sugar.

Eliminate annoying neighbors?

Eliminate annoying countries?

Pay my electric bill.

Watch my van, picturing myself on a roadtrip.

As a member of PETA (People for the Eating of Tasty Animals), I think I'll barbecue using as many petroleum products as possible to start the fire. Maybe later in the day I'll gas up and drive somewhere far away (maybe Brenham) and see how many cows can be enticed into farting all at once. After that the car should need an oil change (which of course will not be recycled). Maybe that evening I can turn on the Communist News Network (CNN) and see how many Hollyood liberals made pointless, feel good, hypocritical gestures to celebrate the day. Then off to bed.
