My favorite place is gone :(
It was Yann Sushi On Westhimer in the Montrose area.
Must have items are tako (octopus), unagi and anago (eels), and surf clam (forgot the Japanese name for that).PLECOS SUCK!

Absolutely favorite place to go : Masa Sushi - Clear Lake (yes I hate the drive from Katy) -- Owner Michael -- absolutely awesome place. (I go with a close friend of the owner so we always get discounts when going)
The following items have to be on the menu for me.
Unagi
Ebi - Shrimp
Hamachi - yellow Tail
Saba - Mackerel
Sake - Salmon
Maguro - Tuna
-- there are a ton of other things I like too... but those are my favorite. I usually like peppered tuna too.. but I dont recall that its called.
I like to eat both Sushi and Sashimi. Fresh Wasabi is a must (just ask Mike Truong)

I have actually been contemplating having a fish people gathering one of these days at a Sushi restaurant.
Maybe I should put out some feelers on how people would respond to that..
