    This is my conure. He was sold to me as a sun conure but he wound up being some kind of hybrid. He's a very cool bird. His nickname is Mr. Screamyface.

        i had a sun conure named Cisco.....he loved to scream.....your bird looks sooooooo much like him except for the blue feathers...
        mine was a pure bred and he didn't have any blue feathers.....

        mr screamyface is gorgeous...thanks for sharing his pictures.....

          People always frown on hybrids(even me at times), but WOW his colors are amazing. Oh well I guess we all are heinz 57  when we look at our gene pool.  I can show you some pics of my hybrid kids, but that would get off topic!!

            Suns and Jendays cross pretty readily. They used to market them as "Sundays"....I know...pretty inventive.

                what you most likely have is a Jenday rather than a cross at all.   Mature birds have that beautiful blue.   this bird's colors are striking which shows your excellent care & diet.  V

                  I agree. Looks exactly like a Jenday!

                  Edit - She's standing on top of a 40g tank. She really loves to take a bath then sit on top of a tank and warm up in the lights. Another reason I keep my tanks covered!

                        i have a quaker parakeet named buddy that someone is welcome to...ha ha...his favorite trick besides talking your ear off is to wait until i get in bed evrynight and right when I doze off.......start squawking and screeching.  Makes me really appreciate quiet fish. :)
