Re: The fruits of my labor!

Thanks everyone for the kind words!

I pulled just about all the stops for this tank and I have to say that this is probably the first time it has payed off! I even noticed a little smirk in the fiance's face when I showed her cause she has to deal with it as much as I do......the whole time we were in Cozumel I kept checking my emails and she was pissed!

rahne, I started with the NC12g and it soon showed it's face of worthlessness.....that tank was very limiting even though I upgraded just about everything to get it right but it would not work. I soon realized that I needed to go bigger but kept in mind that I did not want to change much water since it's not as simple as running the hose to it so I went with the 30g. I like to do lots of water changes but there has to be a limit to it all.

Re: The fruits of my labor!

Congrats EK !!  Very well done.
I might be looking for your services in the future.  Not near future I dont think, but my Mom and Stepdad are thinking about building a saltwater tank.
My Stepdad when he was a kid had saltwater (his mom and dad owned a fish store in Germany growing up) and he is into scuba diving.
They dont want a nano tank, they are going to want something like at least a 100g tank etc.. when the day comes I might just have to call on you to assist (mainly do) the setup etc...  so I dont mess that up.. (you know in the end I am the one who has the do the majority of the maintenance... and I have no clue on saltwater)
