LFS Austin

I'm in need of an Austinite.  I'll be in Austin, in the IH35 - 290 -  Cameron Road area,  this weekend and hopefully will have time to check out some of their LFS's.  That is, provided my head is not pounding from other entertainment  :wink: .

Any suggestions? - About LFS's not the "other entertainment", I can find that on my own   .

I have been to several LFS in Austin. Without knowing what type of fish "tickles you fancy", I'm not sure what to recommend. I do remember Aquatek was pretty nice (although not necessarily cheap). They had a fairly large variety of cichlids (some which I have never seen in Houston), and seemed to have a fairly knowledgable staff.

At the moment I have Africans and Discus.  What I need is more plants to kill, opps, I mean grow.

That had a decent vairety of plants there from what I remember. I wasn't into plants when I wa sin Austin, so I kinda glossed over that area. Are you looking for particular types of plants?

Low light mainly.  I have a compact flour., but my tank is a tall 105 so I'm looking for low light plants that grow really tall, if there are such things.  I don't think the light is penetrating all the way to the bottom.
