  • Nice apt./condo in the med/galleria area?

Ok so I have been monitoring my driving and gas spendings as well as the fiance's and we are spending about 700 a month on gas as well as putting ourselves through a nightmare driving through traffic.

Went and looked for a "during the week" apt. to rent or condo to purchase in the Medical center or Galleria area. So if anyone knows someone or know of a place LMK!

Looking for 1-2bedroom, washer/dryer, attached garage a plus!, would like it to be a nice place, bottom floor if possible and must allow for tanks(plan to run my coral propagation out of there).

Looking to spend about $1400 or less.

i've been seeing some condo units for sale where I live. probably 1 bedroom cause there's very few 2 beds.
great thing is there's no water bill !

Probably more worried about electrical bill more then the water bill.... I never got my water bill over $70-80 at the house even when I was doing like 20+tanks.

There's quite a few places in the med center that are good..

          @ Brompton St./Holcombe there's

          The Camdens
          The Berkshires

@ Kirby/Braeswood there's two very large/nice/relatively new complex's at that intersection, just can't remember the names. I wanna say one of them is like the crossing's @ kirby

          Good luck

Ventanas at midtown was $1100 for 2 bedroom short drive down fannin to Med center. That is where I use to stay. It is built of concrete so no real worries of having tanks on higher levels and there is an elevator.

                    Did they have refrigerator/washer/dryer?

Trying not to furnish the place much since it will mostly be used for sleeping during the week only.

should be lots of options in the bering/augusta corridor - check HAR.com for those two streets
                      65 gallon - ADA 120p - planted
55 gallon - AGA standard - mix cichlid
                      30 gallon tall - eclipse acrylic - semi-planted

                      live and let live

BUMP. I'm going to need a decent place too around that area for when I have meetings downtown.
                              Any suggestions?
