I just got an update from Chris's wife.  He is still on the ventilator and will be for atleast a day.  He has some stuff in his lungs that has to come out before he will be extabated and taken off of the ventilator.  He is awake enough to communicate but obviously can not talk with the tube down his throte.  So thank God that He was  blessed and got off with as little injuries as he did in comparison to what could have happened.

This is the second accident I have just have to deal with in the last month.
My co-worker Travis was in a bad motorcycle accident and he just went home 2 weeks ago, after spending at least 2 weeks in the hospital.
I am glad to hear that Chris is awake and can communicate.. much better than my co-worker who took close to a week to starting to remember who people where.  He reconized his wife, but didnt know he had children at first. (they are 1 and 3yr old)

Chris my thoughts go out to you and your family.  I hope you will have a speedy recovery.

i appreciate as will chris, everyones support.  He is going to be fine but has a long recovery ahead of him.

Chris should have his ventilator out sometime today.  It is all based on how much stuff is in his lungs when they go in and investigate today.  He has no broken bones which is a miracle.  not even in his face where he hit.  I will be going up there on thursday to see him.
