I am getting sick of all these hurricanes and tropical storms!    Not, they are a great time to breed bettas.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

Well see...I still have 432 cans of tuna and 27 "cubes" of spam. I'm safe for the next few hurricanes.  8O

it's not that the storm would get here...it's how everyone acts when it's supposed to get this way....

but my point is that everyone goes nutz ..... 8O

URBAN LEGEND has it that bettas are more inclined to build bubble nests and breed when a low pressure front passes through.
It may have something to do with rainfall causing water conditions & food supply sutable for fry......
Your guess is as good as mine.
But, It has proven true more times than not in my fish room.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

well i'm glad to know that PP ....i was beginning to worry about Rambo.....
i had my lab technician convinced he was trying to court her...... 8O  and the funny thing was she was buying the whole story......
so i had to let her off the hook and tell her that it's the weather that's making him crazy and not her beauty......

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
