  • Pterodactyls in Galeveston

I have never seen mosquitoes this big in my life. They are taking over Galveston...if you go outside in the Texas A&M campus...they are like a cloud of smog.

We've actually had classes canceled because of the extreme number of these GIANT bohemian misquotes.
I've sprayed OFF and Cutter all over myself, all over my dog and books. These freaks of nature are immune.  8O

I counted my bites, I have 27. That's from today WITH THE HELP OF REPELLENTS!!!
They're so fierce and kamikaze that I got one in my eye and I've also been bitten on the butt.
It bit it's way through my pants.  8O
    They have noses of steel.

I squished 67 when getting into my car. (I picked the carcasses out one by one...no one wants misquitoes in their Lexus).
They don't even squish easy, they're bendable little things...you squish them and they unravel and bite you again.

I like the ones who are dead.
They're easier to "appreciate" that way.

I dunno. I think it would be neat to have a pet Pteranodon or Ornithocheirus! 8)

That must be the reason pterosaurs went extinct then. Not the meteor or climate change. Deet killed the dinosaurs 8O !
