I like creature oriented scifi movies
stuff like Aliens, Predator, Jurassic Park, Godzilla and other daikaiju, giant killer mutant animal cheesy B-movies like the sci-fi channel creature flicks, classic 50's/60's/70's "drive-in" type monster flicks, etc.[youtube]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTfts3dQ5Tk[/youtube]

Big HARRY POTTER FAN here ( although I dont know if it falls under sci-fi?? hmmm ), also Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Alien (all 4), does Predator count? :)

Sweet.  I like the classic stuff too and yes, Predator counts...LOL.  I like it all but I like some more than others...

That is also a good movie, makes me want to watch all my sci-fi movies... oh i forgot some, Transformers, Chronicles of Riddick, Hellboy, League of Extradinary Gentlemen, Constantine, Nightwatch/Daywatch, Virtousity....
Wow, I can keep going and going and going..... lol.... I love movies period....

Dresden Files and 4400 are good for me because my oldest son and even my 9 yo son will watch these with me.  Its like a big deal, the wife gets bumped to the bedroom to watch tv or she does something else...LOL.  If one of us is not available when it comes on, we just record it and watch it together later.  There isn't anything on right now that we watch together like that.  

It doesn't count, but "24" is another show my oldest and I watch together all the time.
