Until this year, the longtime Texas Congressman and former presidential candidate has had no problem getting floor passes to the Republican National Convention. This time around, he said, all he could get was a “second class” pass. He was only allowed on the convention floor, he was told, with a chaperone; he could bring no staff with him; and when he left the hall, his credentials would be taken away.

As for a speaking slot - something traditionally offered to candidates who garnered support during the presidential primary - Paul said simply, “that wasn’t available to us.”


There ya go Geoff....you see they fear the "truth"....and Dr Paul seems to speak nothing but....that's why the mainstream media worked so hard to keep him out of the limelight during the primaries....they knew that the "truth" would set you free...and it's not what's on the agenda of the politicians. To be truthful would be to set american's free....and they've worked very hard for a very long time to keep us in check on that account. But as you know when your right your right....and they can't stop what's right....there are far more supporters of Dr Paul then there are of John McCain....and if Dr Paul were allowed a moment on the platform to speak, then there would be no fan fare for McCain.....that's what they fear...the "TRUTH"....so the only thing to do in their eyes is to not allow that moment to happen.....therefore deny Dr Paul to speak at the convention.....that's where he's at Geoff.....but i assure you he's still around.....very much so and one day they will have to listen......

there's been a multitude of changes in our constitution Delock.....for instance.....
the "right to bear arms".....thanks to the "Patriot act" that is being challenged....you can no longer do this if "the government" feels you are a threat to our "nation"...that is to say that if they feel they want to come into your home and strip you of all your "guns" they have the right to do that now.....doesn't matter who you are or what you believe in....our "founding fathers'" gave us the right to be humans....and to allow us the "fought for" right to live and be free....but the ever changing "government" seeks to change those rights....you know the "1st amendment"....freedom of speech....you can only do that with sooooooooooo many stipulations now....and if you say the "wrong" thing and "anyone" who interprets it to be something that it's not intended to be then you have no freedom of "speech".....does that make things a tad bit clearer for ya on that statement?.....

The fact that you have to ask "where is Ron Paul" speaks volumes about the state of this country/nation.

It is my humble opinion, that the majority of the U.S. population does not care, they are now "the sheeple" that some of us have come to know them as. Others' are caught up in the ever popular patriotic fever that Mr. Bush was nice enough to offer us with the ultimatum "you're either with us, or you're with the terrorist"

And since the mainstream media is now under the control of members of either the CFR, or Bildeberg, or the mega rich neo cons, we won't be receiving any REAL facts or news when it comes to anything that even comes close to facts or the truth.

Since Ron Paul is a stick in the mud, and wont play the neo con driven games that are being promoted in washington today, you wont' see or hear one word about him if they can help it.
