That's the problem that your not seeing.

The money they make is not in oil, but in the products they make such as lubricants, and raw feed stocks to other processes.

        They're not making gasoline.

            Re: More Big Oil News

Banking industry as I always say is the worst of them all you may point your fingers at oil but Banks are the ones that have the free pass to make up new fees to charge you and raise rates for what ever reason they determine is good and the government does nothing about it. The government loves to pretend they are helping the every day citizen by going after oil but it isnt going to get us anywhere meaningful. The government charges 20+ cents per gallon depending on state in taxes if they wanted to help they could cut that down. I will tell you how fishIZneat is right I have mentioned this before but go to www.sec.gov and look at the June 30, 2008 10-Q if you take Googles net income as a ratio of revenue they earned 24.2% in 2008 and 25.6% in 2007 compare that to Exxon and they earned 8.8% in 2008 and 10.5% in 2007. Oil industry by a ratio of earnings to revenue is the one of the least profitable industry but no one looks at that.

              Re: More Big Oil News

Well, maybe I should cease my hostilities with the oil fat cats and take aim at the internet mogels now....naaah.....I like picking on the oil people, they have been gouging the public long before the internet came along. Besides, it's a combination of big oil, big banking, heads of state, and other captains of industry that make up the non existent new world order.

What he put up is fruitless when you comparing millions to billions. In addition, you do not antagonize me at all...more like ride my jock did anything else.
