Yeah but you dont get all the rain into your house again once the rain hits before you get the shingles back down again.
Right now I have a friend of mine who was told by his contractor that it will be at least 2 weeks from now before they can even come to see his house.. and then he estimates that it will be another week before they can do his house.

Another friend of mine who had roof, walls and other problems with his house been told that he needs to move everything he wants out because, the contractors who has to do the work on the restoration will be weeks before they can get to him.   Because the house has extensive damage and the water level from the creek is just barely off his lawn right now, it will be a while before they can do much at his house.
