By now, I'm sure you have heard the news, the bill was rejected. Of course on that news, the market fell a record 700 points or there abouts.

But the amount of money requested by the experts, 700 billion is not going to be enough to fix our economic woes, we are in debt some where close to 5 trillion total, the 700 billion requested would only see us through maybe until after the holidays, where this scenario would pop up again, this according to the information I hear from so called money experts on talk radio.

High gas prices and a struggling economy made Big Truck and SUV sales fall. I got a great deal on my new big 4x4 V8. I guess the bright side of the Fannie May/Freddy Mac mess (Thank you Barney Frank) and the economy having problems along with Ike is that soon it will be a good time to buy a new boat and some coastal property here in Texas.

The glass is half full and I'm making lemonade out of my lemons.

BTW, I love the way Obama's camp came out saying Palin doesn't have enough experience to be VP when Obama has less than 200 days experience in public office and he thinks he can be President.

Number of votes the bill didn't pass by: 12
Number of Democratic committee members on Barney Frank's committee who voted against the bill: 12
                  Coincidence? Hmmn......?

My appologies. I was not taking his time as a State Senator. But ti be fair, Senators don't run anything like a governor runs a state or a president runs a country. And less then 200 days is in reference t the time he has been acting "In Congress" not how long he has been a congressman. If you ask me Congress is a pretty cushy job for both parties since they are part time working positions.

                          Re: politics

I find it interesting that the liberals are comparing Obama's experience to Palin's. It's the only way they have of not looking foolish when talking about experience. Why would you not list Palin's experience as a mayor and as a governor when it comes to executive experience? Now that I've brought that up please take your time, Delock, and list all of Obama's executive experience. If you have enough time after that exhaustive task you could add on Biden's executive experience as well.
