  • Chemist/Chemical Engineer?

I was hoping to find a fellow HFB'r who I could brainstorm a little with and maybe pick your brain on atom level reactions of differing types of S-type Si and P-type Si and modifications to the Si to impact interactions. I don't know exactly where this is going but I am not looking for free information or a free education. I just need to work through some thoughts. i will have an Electrical Engineer and a Mechanical/Nuclear Engineer (my father) involved in the discussions as well as myself representing the Computer Engineering side. If nothing else it should be a fun conversation for learning.

BTW, I'm not looking for PHD's or even degrees, just very knowledgeable people in the field of Chemistry.

:) I guess I should be a little more literal. I'm hoping one of our fellow boxers can help me and a group of friends and family understand the effects of "Doping" Silicone with posative and negative atoms and the liquid cooling effects on the combined substances ability to create a reproducible electrical charges under UV conditions.

i.e. Photovoltaic cell theory. Which I know very little about but would like to learn more. I was hoping someone here might be interested in being involved in a research project.

you are nuts.  that is crazy talk.  using words like Photovoltaic is just not necessary.  EVER.  The stuff works!  thats all i need to know.  Good luck in your ventures though

sorry, how about the research of usable solar energy. Current efficiencies are 5 to 25%. I think there is higher efficiency to be had based on current research and i need someone smarter than me to provide some input.

          I over complicate things sometimes.

there we go.  Im a smart guy just not down with the lingo.  I would be very interested in solar energy as well.
