They said if it's low then you are lucky basically...
For some it's too high and what you can do in that case is either let them base your bill off past usage or go out and read the meter for them.
My light bill was low this month as well. But, since they will make up for it next month I don't plan on spending all the money I think I might have extra. I didn't receive an email, but, there was a spot on the news about receiving estimated electric bills this month. Something about a storm called Ike and difficulties reading meters or some such nonsense. A second look at my bill (Gexa) revealed the little word estimated under the usage amount. I'm glad they estimated low, but I know about what it should be since I was without power less than 24 hours.
Reasoning with some people is like trying to nail jello to a wall...
Well, if they estimated your light bill that low this month,
just think what they are going to give you for Christmas.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
