My light bill was the same, and they told me it was estimated bill, because Centerpoint has been too busy to read the meters.  I use GEXA and they then use Centerpoint to read the meters.

I called and complained, and they lowered my KwH rate to 13.3 cents for the next 6 months.

So hopefully I'll be good shape.

I got a 900 sqft apartment with 9 fish tanks running and my electric runs about 275-300 a month.

My neighbor who has no tanks, and is in the same floor plan electric runs about $150...

No.  The line was from here to forever and we were already running late for practice.  I dont know what their price is now but we'll pass that station again on Tues. and I'll look.

My light bill was $32.00. It is normally about $170.00.

BTW... Keep in mind that I was without power for 13 Days !!!!!

My light bill was $17 for the month. I want to call to make sure I dont get charged a huge amount next month but I am afraid to question it

i use gexa as well, from what i understand centerpoint don't sell ele direct to us so we have to go a 2nd party that does or something like that... they charge me 19cent instead of the 13 for last month....

Weird...I have a usage of $22.20, a rate correction of -$39.97, current charges -$9.70, late payment $9.70 leaving a balance of $0.00.
Some creative accounting...since the bill is due 10/28/08.

Yes....unfortunately it took $1432 in payroll for bureaucracy to figure that amount out!
