When I was in the 5th grade the kid that lived across the street from me was riding a scooter and got killed by a driver that didn't see him.
When I was a new member of HAS in the early 70's I dated another member, she was a widow. Her husband was hit by a little ol lady passing a truck on a 2 lane road......
Nope - I have no death wish.
Perhaps you can get Marauder to buy you one.....
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
D, I am with you. Better to ride in numbers. I've wanted a bike for a while. Let's do it!
All men are created equal but his choices determine his value and what's in his heart determines his worth.
"Political correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end"
The good thing on the Hayabusa though is that you'll definitely be the quickest one to the crash...LOL!!! Just kidding, I've always wanted one too...I can't lie for one minute. My eternal need for more speed holds me back because I too have had too many friends get hurt on them. I would rather do upwards of 180 in something with 4 wheels on the ground!!!!
I can understand the itch, but as a former bike rider, I'll tell you, it's going to get old, and as we all know, it's not the safest way to get from . a 2 . b
If you do scratch the itch, do be careful out there.

Truth is the cement that holds the bricks and stones of a sane and civilized society together. Remove the former and the latter will crumble.
There is a very similar Hyabusa for sale at Stubbs SW on 59. It has the extended Swing-arm like the one in the picture. Very evil looking, certain to be very fast.
Delock, talk to David. He races with a club and whatnot. It's basically a fishbox group for moto-people. I think the site is called motohouston.com
He races his purple people eater.
More importantly, he has the hook up at a bunch of places on bikes. He does someone a favor and someone does him a favor yadda yadda. Give him a call, I'm sure he'd love to help you out.

Derrick, all I will tell you is that I have personally scraped more than a few people off of the pavement - literally. ALWAYS wear a helmet & padded jacket - and padded pants when at all possible.
A Gixxer 750 would be fine for the average sized man but I think we all know that D is not what you would call average....LOL!!!! He is going to need a big bike so he doesn't look funny ridding it.

I agree 100%..... there's nothing worst than seeing big dude on a bike that is too little for him.
