Reading this thread seems to be off the deep end. But I would like to make a statement that I find it funny that the Dems and the Liberal media is making a big deal about Colin Powell's support of Obama. I truly respect Powell but they are acting like a staunch conservative just backed Obama. Powell is a very liberal conservative. Second point the Dems love to slam the "Bush Admin" for Iraq and such. However, do you guys forget that Colin Powell helped push the agenda in his speech to Congress. And now he is a great person on foreign policy when the Dems trashed him and the admin for Iraq. If Obama is really pushing for an end to Iraq and separation from anyone in the admin that supported it. But whatever.

The media making a big deal? Powell is one of the most respected Republican on this planet.  Colin Powell helped push a lie. When it was brought to his attention he stepped down.

He didnt step down because he found it that it was a lie or anything of that sort. And if it was this big lie then tell me, why did Clinton beleive it, why did France, Germany, UK, Russia, China, Israel,... I can keep naming nations that all had the same intel and their heads of state all thought that Iraq posed a clear and present danger to the West. But no matter what is found out and what other nations had and believed. You and others will always think that this was a cover up by Bush, Powell, Cheney, Rice, and others to go to war just because of Bush Sr. Which is completely ubsurd. And now you are telling me that Powell backing Obama doesnt cloud whatever moral clout that Obama seems to think he has about the war because Powell even though he had the intel about Iraq and believed in the war is somehow fine because supposedly he left office because of this fictional lie.   And the media is making a big deal of this its on every news show and website about Powell back Obama as if that makes up for everything he has said and done. Has the media mentioned that Kissinger has back McCain or the other many Head of States or head of the joint cheif of staff? No because McCain is a conservative that they must destroy. Oh wait thats right maybe if it were 3 or 4 years ago McCain was the maverick Republican that attacked his party for things and the Dems loved. Hate to tell you liberals but McCain is the same man he was 3 years or 20 years ago. And how do we know that look at his record same Republican that would buck back at the party when he didnt like something and isnt a kool-aid drinker. More than I can say about Obama. Why you ask maybe because he has no record to speak of and all he has done that we can tell from the little data you can find on him was to follow the party line. Which is attack Bush attack Bush he is the devil in a suit. Please but I will get off of this for now because it wont change some of you guys from thinking what you want to think whether factual or not. I am by no means a kool-aid drinker I think Bush has made mistakes but I am scared out of my mind of the mistakes that I think Obama will make.

Actually let me rephrase that not mistakes that I think Obama will make. Because I think it will be a deliberate act on his part to allow the greatest country on the face of the Earth to be ripped apart by the crazies on the left and the crazies from outside this nation

Yes...because delock is a direct line to military intelligence...so if he's not aware of it, no one is. All those trucks going to Syria when we went in were loaded with aspirin and baby formula.
