Texas Tech Football!

Hey guys, thought I would go ahead and start a Texas Tech Football thread. As you guys know, James and I met at Texas Tech! We're really excited about how the season has been going so far! Several people are saying that they are going to be #1 this year, over Texas and Oklahoma. What do you guys think? Don't like Tech? Who do you like? This is the highest ranking they have had ever, so it's definitely going to be an exciting season!

Texas Tech are good, but i still think UT and OU is better . That's just my opinion, but i guess i have to see how they fight out till the end.

Tech is really good this year!

One of the best QB/wide receiver combo in college football.

But I too think that UT is better. However, OU might not be better than Tech.  

What makes me mad is that tech haven't lost a game and they are ranked 8th. Either way, rank doesn't mean everything. This is the best tech team in 30 years.

I'm okay with Tech...and I can do nothing but hope that they beat UT.
However, I'm an Aggie...so, I hate Tech this weekend but I'll like yall again when you play UT.  
Right now, I feel like Tech is one of the only teams that can save us from those t-sippes taking it home.
*burns candles for invisible BCS god*--Just let them fall to #2...just not #1.
Bleh, I have a bad feeling that the UT vs. A&M game is going to ruin my Thanksgiving.  8O

go red raiders!! if you are a true tech fan, you know we lack defense.. our offense is potent every year, but when it comes to defense.. sigh.. im just hopin tech can get through the last stretch with only 2 losses.  tech is ranked 8th even though unbeaten is because we havent played any big opponents and we've struggled against nebraska and a&m.  so we have win and look good at the same time.

do they still throw tortillas? they did when i was there a few yrs back.

The way Colt is playing he is going to shred that sorry excuse for a defense that Tech has and UT has a better defense to atleast hold Tech just below UT. I think that game will be UT by a TD but it will break 100 combined points when all is said and done. The reason Tech isnt ranked higher is because they have a soft schedule they havent played anyone like OSU and UT have played and they barely beat Nebraska and struggled with A&M

I have a toss up this weekend because I am going to volunteer for the GHAC auction assuming I do not have to work. So I will miss the UT v OSU game no matter what. You know the GHAC should set up a big screen tv at the auction.

I feel the same way about beating Texas...they may not go all the way but as long as we beat UT life is good. The officials have been tragic at the previous games always siding with UT. As for the tortillas...when I was there we didn't. Apparently they gave penalties to our guys for all the tortillas on the field. So not anymore. The TECH vs TAMU was a great game! I don't care that they didn't obliterate the Aggies, as long as they won!
