The well to do are the primary job creators in this country...so the last time is NOW. Some jobs are outsourced as government taxation and regulation make it more prudent. So guess what happens when those taxes and regulations are increased?

But these businesses outsourcing because it's cheaper there....they don't get taxed the same high percentage in these foreign countries. Infact, in some places they get a tax break.
If I'm not mistaken, Linksys has just switched to 98% of their customer service/technical support based in India. That's alot of
American jobs taken because the government wants to tax these big companies...the big companies will still be big. But now, they'll just be big elsewhere.  8O

And you're correct in this...Bush has moved too far to the left and spending and taxation has gotten out of control. That's why we're having the outsourcing problem. Somehow I'm guessing Obama isn't going to right that ship.

I do understand....Bush lost his way...he became too much like a Democrat in certain areas and that's why we have that particular problem. We're just lucky that the companies didn't give the government the old one finger salute and move entirely.

Trickle down works. Capitalism works. It got us out of the Carter years...but I know we'll disagree on that. He inherited a deficit because he was unwilling to "cook the books" as they did during the Clinton years. All of Bush's problems come from the fact that he has abandoned being a conservative. He has abandoned capitalism. That's why it would be easier for Obama, if he gets his way, to bury capitalism. The reason he had to borrow money for thewar is that he didn't cut from the useless programs that politicians like to try to use to buy votes...and has allowed business to stifle. And the liberals still haven't learned that tax and spend has its limits....Government doesn't create wealth.
