You think a leftist hollywood video is better than the one from a soldier who lost a leg. That shows PRECISELY where you stand on things. It shows PRECISELY where many (not all) Obama supporters stand. That you are of that opinion is a better argument for my side than any I could have come up with. Thank you.

This is one of those magical "what if" scenarios, as in "What if we never went to Iraq? Then he would have not lost his leg."


The sad reality is that even though I've never agreed with the war in Iraq, I realize that:

1. it was unfinished business from 1990 that needed to be dealt with, and
2. soon or later, we were gonna have to go there. As I said earlier, We should have stayed on track, and pushed west through Iran, then Iraq, etc etc, all the way across African plains to the Atlantic. That's where Islamic terrorism is, that's where we should be - at some point.

I think the soldier with one leg understands that too. I don't think Obama & company do.

Like I said above though, even though I never agreed with timing of the war in Iraq. I understand the purpose, and importance behind it.

The purpose is hard to see because it has been clouded by perceptions of a bad administration who gave false information to fulfill selfish desires.


If the Bush administration just held out, right about now we would instead be talking about invading Iran, and Saddam would be vocally backing Iran. Which means ultimately we would invade Iraq.


It just happened all out of order, and now support for the war has been lost.

The spark, Osama BinLaden aka Tim Osmond, was just a scape goat, the purpose was to anger the American people, so that they would back a war to find the master mind behind the 911 terror attacks. Tim Osmond was Osama's CIA code name, he was recruited by the CIA back in the early eighties to assist the U.S. in moving troops and arms against the Russians in Afghanistan. Suddam Huessein was also used by the U.S. government until he got to big for his britches, the hunt for the WMD's where the excuse they used to invade Iraq, and of course, we all know now, the WMD's where never found.

In the mean time, Haliburton, Rand, Dyncorp, The Carlyle Group, all the others' made millions on the war contracts....

It just seems that his reaction...in the first one especially...means he knew exactly what he was doing. We might elect a man tomorrow that does not share the values of the majority of Americans...and if I'm wrong, and those are the values that America now holds...we are lost.
