Delock...no, not at all. I don't think he's a bad person because he heard something evil. I think he participated in something that doesn't promote racial equality.
I believe in equality, I believe that everything should be on an even playing field...however, I do not believe that bashing America and being racist is a good way to promote anything but hatred.
I don't think that equality can be taught through fear and hate. That's all that I'm saying.
You can't honestly tell me that Obama had no clue what Rev. Wright was preaching. Somewhere in the midst of 20 years...he caught on to the fact that the church was teaching black supremacy. I watched it for 10 minutes and I caught on.
So either he's extremely naive and absolutely DENSE or....he's lying and he does believe and endorse what the Rev. says.
Either way, it's not good.

Jeebus, I've already tried to talk about Obama's tax plan...it just gets ugly because people don't know all of the facts.  :?

Delock, they disturbed me because he is running for an office which requires an unbiased person.  How can the leader of the free world claim loyalty to only one race when this country is full of different races.

From what I can read, you're saying that African American people were oppressed and since they were treated badly by CERTAIN PEOPLE...it's okay for them to preach hatred? What does that fix?? Shouldn't TOLERANCE be preached?
Wow- I don't disagree that they were treated badly (it's unacceptable how many African Americans were treated) but they aren't the only race that were treated badly..what about the Native Americans? The Jews?

What about now? What about the hatred involved with Proposition 8 in California right now?
When Californians vote for Obama they are voting in favor of Constitutionally banning same-sex marriage.

I just don't understand why anyone would concentrate on hatred and racism that has been overcome...there are still battles to be fought. But I guess those battles don't matter when there are votes at stake.
