I find it interesting that we are the ones feeling sorry for the military. It's not our troops feeling sorry for themselves.
If they're in Iraq and they're satisfied with the way things are going...it's their lives at stake, why are we the ones whining?

It's just amazing to me.
My twin sister is leaving in 2 weeks on her way to Iraq. She's a Marine and she's proud to go.
David (Ramius) signed with the Marines this week and will be leaving in 3 weeks.
Why aren't they whining?
If they think it's worth it, why don't we?

I understand that we're a democracy but you and I enjoy our freedom because of THEM.
We wouldn't be a democracy if we weren't free.

Do Conservatives ever question the reporting on self-proclaimed Conservative new services like Fox or talk radio or is their reporting always accepted as God given fact?

I do tend to trust Fox News and talk radio more. The reason...they are honest about their political leanings. They don't try to hide what they are. And they do make an effort to show both sides. The majors don't admit to their bias. They hide what they truly are. The AP is one of the worst because they regularly try to word things with a slant and if you're not looking for it, it's much harder to catch. I tend not to trust someone who thinks I'm stupid enough that they can influence me without my knowledge...and that's what the majors do. Fox news makes an effort to have liberals on. The majors make almost no effort to do so. George Stephanopoulos almost lost his job because he asked Obama about Bill Ayres.

It's a good thing that the stock market reached its all time high during the Bush administration then. If it hadn't been going so good we would have been in much worse trouble. If you're going to blame hime for the bad things, you've got to give him credit for the good things.
