If you believe that the Democrats have moved to the right you're living in a fantasy world. He is ABSOLUTELY a socialist. The Democrats fit the label of fascist way more than the Republicans. Why don't you post a dictionary definition of fascism and see where you guys stand?

That's the real problem with Obama, we cannot find out much about the man. Seems his school records are being witheheld, as is his genuine birth certificate, along with the bulk of his law practice records.

I hear he went to Harvard, about 100K or more to get thru there, where did that money come from? Both his muslim fathers abandoned him early in his life, did his mom take on 3 jobs to put him thru harvard?

This information is not available to anyone. The guy is virtually a unknown before all the media hype of the primaries. Was he not just a junior senator a few years ago? I care not about his skin color, but I am concerned about the fact, that not much of his backgroud is confirmed let alone known about him.

I did not see him as a viable canidate back in the spring, and I still see no evidence that he can lead this country in todays very troubled times.

Obama and Biden, remind me of that commercial from a decade back where the two young boys are trying to pound square pegs into round hole on a board, and their comment is: We Can Make It Fit

All them words and writing don't mean squat when it comes right down to who Obama is, he or anyone else can be whatever IST, we want to be.

I freely admit to being a conspiracy theorIST.  Obama's own comments would tend to make me believe he is a socialIST.

It's all in how you look at things I guess.

I'm out of this one, it's a voided conversation anyway. It's all mute, the government is corrupt and so is our mis-guided faith in politics.

Fascism and socialism are not mutually exclusive. If you want forcible suppression of opposition see the "fairness doctrine". The government is trying to take over an industry (you know...the bailout). This fits right within your definition of Socialism. I'm not saying we're there yet...but it will be forced upon us....through fascist means as necessary. You didn't address my earlier question. Why have you refused to tell us where you're from and what you do? I know you've been asked before I posed the question.

That the media has a liberal bias is an established fact...through independent studies and by its own admission. Many of the American people that share those values do so because it has been force fed to them for years by that same media. And please tell us exactly what you mean by the "fairness doctrine" of Reagan's time. Progressive taxation isn't necessarily socialism. 40% of people don't pay income tax....so any "refund" check they receive is simply a transfer of wealth.  Why are you ignoring my question about your location and occupation?

Those 40% should not have the right to vote in my opinion. And if you are on welfare, you should have to take random drug tests. They would have to take a drug test if they were hired by a company. I bet that 40% would drastically decrease.

Drug test to get Welfare,,,fail and you do not get it...

The kids would be the most hurt by it.  

How about this...your kids get introuble with the law or drugs and you loose the added money to your benefit because of it.

The kids make good grades, have perfect attendence,,,get incentives..

What I am saying is that I think it would be a great idea to drug test people on Welfare.

If they should fail it, then they would not get their Welfare Check unitl they could pass one etc..

Just like you said, they would have to pass a drug test for employment, then they should have to do the same for Welfare.

Welfare Kids that get into trouble with the School, Law enforcement, would cause the Parents to lose their added benefit for that child.

Welfare Kids making good grades and near perfect attendance, then the parents would get incentives on the welfare check.

Seriously, if you do not contribute to society by paying taxes, then I do not think you should have the right to vote. Period.
