Katrina didn't kill bourbon street, I doubt that Ike will kill Galveston. I think it's just going to slow things down until next year. Once things start to get cleaned up and businesses get back on their feet, the tourist will be back. It just takes time.

Okay, sooooo... Perhaps some of the more privilaged HFBer's will post up how the auction went, maybe what some of the highlight items were, and what they enjoyed the most out of it - especially for those of us who had to work today.. :(
