Well, I felt he was respectful and showed honor in defeat. I respect that in either party. The crowd, They are passionate, that is not reflective of John McCain as an individual.
I thought his speech was good. I am not judging McCain but the crowd. If it was the opposite it would be a different spin put on it.

Bitter... Not against you but just dissappointed! I am dissappointed on how a nobody can become a president in two years! It scares me how someone with no experience is now going to run the country. We are in 2 wars, an economic crises, and a time of terrorism. To be honest, I am terrified! Not for me but my son and my nephew! I want them to be able to enjoy their childhoods without fear like I did! I want them to be able to graduate from highschool and a 4 year college. I want to see them get married and then have children. How can i feel comfortable about their future when I am worried about their present? You and I have had the time to enjoy life! I just want my and your kids to have the same! I wanted someone with a name, with experience, and someone that I knew who actually fought for my kids future! This race was personal but not for me... for my nephew and son!

I would hope not and we will never know. The road to victory is paved with losers. Losing is not a bad thing... It's a learning thing. The gloating is what incites negative feelings no matter position you take.

I am a Republican, I voted for McCain, he lost and I am proud of how he handled it. We lost and we will move on and adjust. I am worried about what will happen to my 1st and 2nd amendment rights over the next 4 years but I will vote again and "We" as a party and "We" as a nation will learn.

Congratulations Obama and all his supporters. History has been made in our great country and that is what the USA is truly about. Creating world history.

                Chas,

I'm glad you voted for whom you felt was right.  I cannot knock that and "WE" will move on and adjust to make this country the greatest nation in the Free World!

It is and will continue to be. We are all different with different backgrounds, beliefs and feelings. The fact that we each have a vote is amazing when you look at the rest of the world

                          1. It already is the greatest nation in the free world

                          2. Now you're saying "WE" should move on....which is good...but you weren't quite so generous with Bush were you? Claims of stolen elections and the inability to admit that he IS your President (and still is...by the way), that still persist to this day make you talking about "WE", when you've refused to be a part of the "WE" for the last 8 years, pretty hypocritical.

McCain never really tried in my opinion, he seemed happy to compliment Obama several times during the campaign, and was more than willing to be second best......here's to you sir Mr. McCain.

Its interesting to me that you mention that we are in 2 wars, that WE (the Untited States) Started. and the Economic crisis is largely due to overspending on conflicts that need not have been started and continue to this day. it would be the same thing for England to invade and control all of Ireland because of their terrorist bombers (not to say i agree with British control on any of Ireland) .You cannot attack a Nation for the actions of so few. OK there are lots of criminals in LA that kill people through violence and selling drugs everyday. Lets just put the City under Martial Law and take away their freedoms. but thats wrong because they are Americans, but its Ok to do that with IRAQ because they arent Americans. I would fight too if you invaded My country. Also some of the best Presidents had very little Experience at all, need i remind you of Kennedy. some of the most experienced Like Nixon turned out to be horrible, for one reason or another. of course no president was worse then William Henry Harrison (or was he the best  )
