No you didn't. You just refused to call him your president. You just repeatedly said the election was stolen. And now you want to do everything as "WE". I actually have no problem with that. I was just pointing out the hypocrisy that exists between things you've said in the past and what you seem to want now. Would you feel the same if McCain had been elected?
Dude....you are not my creator. I dont have to answer when you speak. This is 2008 not 1963.
I am so tired of racist quotes like this! How in the world is this country supposed to move past this if people like Delock keep bring it up. No matter who is black or white, pink or purple, gay or straight... TODAY, we are all equal. I do not owe anybody an appology for something that my great great grandparents did. I just feel blessed that slavery is over and that EVERYONE is equal. If anybody should be upset, gays should be. They are the ones who are now getting unequal treatment. Delock, you have the same rights as I do. You have the same right to succeed! You have the same right to fail. You have the right to move on and you also have the same right to sit in your pitty party and hand out the cheesy whines.

Sorry but he keeps using his race to defend todays short comings. Just think about it! Next year, we will have a 1/2 black and 1/2 white president. Maybe after that, we can elect a hispanic gay man! Then a chinese and so on.

Just stop the racist comments. Obama has proven that even though we have some racist, for the most part, most people are not racist.

Kennedy did a lot of good things while in office but he also is responsible for the US involvement in the Vietnam War. He and LBJ got us into a heck of a mess over there and to top it off, they would not allow American Soldiers to defend themselves even when fired upon. Kennedy also holds responsibility for the Bay of Pigs which led to the escalated tensions between the US and The Soviet Union (Cold War)

Nixon who is always remembered as a bad president for Watergate (which by today's standards was minor) is the President that lifted the ban on US Soldiers being able to fire back when fired upon in Vietnam. He also escalated support for US Troops which thus lead to the cease fire and ended the Vietnam War.  Nixon's Foreign Policy was amazing. He also is responsible for reducing the tensions between The US and Soviet Union as well as US relations with China.

As for Clinton, If I did what he did with an intern and at work in my office. I don't think my employers (or my wife, or my employees) would consider that behavior "My Personal Life" and just let it go. And I wouldn't expect them to.
You are right in that those events happened in that order. ANd Nixon did a good job of getting us out of Vietnam (i did say i did not like what Clinton did just o clarify) But Involvement in Vietnam start much much earlier and i am going to blame the French. (but its soooo easy to blame the French) Ho Chi Min was actually a spy and guerilla for the US during WWII against the japanese invasion of Vietnam and wanted a Democratic nation, but we gave it back to France after the war. And he didnt like that. seems what we are fighting for now (in a forced way) in IRAQ we had the opportunity to do before and dropped the ball. (talking about Vietnam, but similar situation not that long ago too)
As for e feeling embarasses about how the US was being portrayed to the world. all i have to do is look at the number 1 company. Wal-Mart. What used to be about service and smiling, is only about saving money, at the cost of bad quality goods from a Nation that isnt exactly friendly with ANYBODY. now the hope that free trade and a boosted economy wiill bring China around is an interesting idea, maybe it will work, but i dont like a lot of the practices done their in how they manage production and the like. so i avoid buying products made there whenever i can. But that is extremely hard to do today. You talk about companies making money and saving the american dream, when they ship off tech jobs to India to save on money and get a bonus while they lay off people here (you will see a lot more of that in the next few years) but they have money to contribute to election campains and the working family has to get 3 jobs to cover gas cost because nothing has truly been done to change out energy economy in DECADES. the first rule of economics is that without development and grow, there is Death. (which is why like i stated early in this post or another i dont like Obama's Tax plan either)
      Never fear I is here

I am perfectly happy blaming the French Everyone seems to forget that the French violated the UN embargo on Iraq and had sole rights to Iraqy oil profits. Oh Yeah, it was the French who were running the UN at the time

        8O  8O  8O

But again, I confuse issues with facts... Like if it weren't for the US, there would be NO FRENCH, they would be German.

Re: John McCain, what a class act...

So much is spoken is simple generalities here...Viet Nam. Does anyone have any real idea why we went there instead of...say...Cambodia or Laos?
Were all US Presidents simple minded men with no advisors or input from involved diplomats and military men? I think not...but most statements are so general and simplistic it may as well be "Mickey Mouse told me that God wants the USA to be in charge".

Viet Nam sat on huge reserves of oil, bauxite (Aluminum), and was called the rice bowl due to vast amounts of rice production.
Fact...in the early 60's Red China's oil production was roughly equal to that of the state of Kansas. So...Uncle Ho had to balance independence against the looming desire of Red China for the resources of Viet Nam. Hence the playing of the major Western countries against each other by Uncle Ho and the Eastern powerhouse USSR.

We were there to keep the Red Menace from control of resources to build a massive war machine...but politics and mismanagement by the military caused a giant clusterf**k which ended in Uncle Ho getting what he wanted all along...non interference by large superpowers in the growth of his Communist society.

Iraq was and is a major problem in the Middle East...but thank God for all the dead and busy Islamic fighters there, instead of feeding conflicts and incidents elsewhere around the globe.

We are never allowed to take a break fighting the meanest least "civilized" enemy we have faced since the Asian Communists...they aren't taking any time off and we need to grind any conflict we have with them down to the last fighter we can get without withdrawing like Israel did from Gaza; and we see how well that worked out.
