The show tomorrow is one of three that HGCA puts on each year at Reliant.

There is now 48 gun shows per year between reliant, grb, conroe and pasadena.

I recently picked up a 5" Springfield XD Tactical.

I'm down for a range session sometime.

Some years ago I went to a certain public range and after that day I no longer went to a public range.
I now go to a private range and it has 2 ranges. One is close by to me and the other is a 1000 yd range.
Nothing but knowledgeable and friendly folks especially if your into ballistics.

I'd love to try the 1000 yd range. I have a .308 that touches rounds at 200 yd. Always wanted to see what it would do at longer distances.

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? I don't hunt, but my girlfriend's brother is a bow hunter so we shoot targets when we get a chance out in Giddings/Smithville area. Pretty fun

Here is the link Mark. You must apply and read its regulations and rules.
There is a fee and few other things to comply with.
Enjoy and you will have a great time.

Send me a PM about your .308. I have a .223 24" Bull barrel and i love it.

Shot a .308 this weekend and really liked it. Don't know about the cost of ammo though.

It's a remington 700 VLS, bull barrel .308 with a Redfield 4-12 on it, 40 mm objective. For a 1000 yd range, I really need to put a military dot reticle scope on it. My rounds are custom made by a gunsmith friend of mine using Hornady X bullets.

My 10fpLE2b was set up to try and get some long range in but never found one to shoot it at.

I've built a couple of AR15 variants and did custom work and upgrades on my other firearms.

I'm 1 month away from getting my ATF tax stamp back for an Short barrel rifle build I'm currently working on. It's going to be a SOCOM M4 CQBR Block II aka "MK18 Mod 1" clone. Then getting a Silencerco Osprey 9mm silencer then Knights Armament CO 5.56 QDSS NT4 silencer for my AR15s.

I'm down for a range meet.

Damn baller! KAC is some serious mooola!

When I built my SBR I favored the LE Bushmaster 11.5 M4 bbl due to their quality and the factory option. 1:7 bbl is a beast! At the time the AAC M4-2000 had some good reports and the mounts offered also sold me, went with the SOPMOD for my SBR and Phantom for the Recon.

Tell me about it, I just bought a $190 MK18 KAC flip up front sight in Taupe and a $130 KAC flip up rear sight. $320 on just sights that I'll most likely never use cause I plan on getting an EoTech or Aimpoint Micro T1.

nice MK18 Mod 0'ish clone btw. Love LaRue rails, they make great stuff. I have a 9'' LaRue rail on my other AR, BOMB PROOF!
