I think it's 21 period... anything less you can shoot with an adult. could be wrong though.

as for the 454 or even the 500... I've shot both... fun seeing a big metal barrel roll around, not fun on the hands.

      My old Beowulf .50

This thing was fun to shoot! 50 beo slugs digging potholes in a mound was fun, destroying trees was fun too

like i said, you have to be 18 to OWN a handgun, 21 to buy a handgun from an FFL.

I had it mixed up with the CHL, looked it up.

          I stand corrected.

That .50 cal AR was beast!

Never held anything that can process .50 cal rounds smooth like that.

            Should have never sold it!

I shot some kind of automatic handgun when I was in high school...it was my friend's dad's and he took us out one day. I don't remember what it was. Then, when I was in college I was hanging out with a group of Civil War Re-enactors and I shot some of their old stuff...black powder rifles and what not. Lots of kick, as I recall.

Then, last year I took one of those intro type handgun classes at one of the gun ranges...The Armsroom, I think. I actually really dug it. If I didn't spend so much time and money on fish I think I might like to pick up shooting as a second hobby.
