Re: It's that time of year, what's on your Christmas list?

David is around. He's still involved with the military.
Currently, he is chosing between the Marines and the Ranger program. His ASVAP test scores were so high that he's getting recruited from almost every branch. It's just making the right decision that is the hard part.

Also, his dad is in the alternative energy buisness so he's been helping him lately.
He just has his plate full. He's also running around like a chicken with his head cut off trying to make
Christmas special for his 4 daughters....so, it's just been a hectic time for him.
In my defense, I told him to shop earlier.

Nick, my dad has those sandals.
I LOATHE them....he got me some purple ones.  8O

He even made me wear them while he was here....
I only hope that David never discovers the unbreakable rubber tire shoe.
He doesn't work well with the word "unbreakable"...a normal persons response is "oh, that's cool".

David's response is "OOOOOO really??".  8O

I hope he chooses the Ranger program -- I have several friends of mine who chose Marines and are very happy with their choice, but somehow I find David wanting a more interesting time in the military which means the Ranger program might give him that.  I hope he chooses something he will be happy with.

Four daughters... I keep forgetting this man has so many children :)  That has to be a joy by itself :)  I will never forget his rendition of barbie land at his house...  From Jeff Foxworthy on his house of wife and two daughters when home between shows: "I live in the estrogen ocean, sometimes I feel like GI Joe on a 3 day pass when I am home"

I hope he has a ton of fun and I hope to see him online again soon :)

I like mine. I have a black pair I have worn to the various fish meetings/auctions. I bought Gene a pair of blue ones since he likes mine so much.

it's kind of sad being a grown up now.....it seems that you get your present early and then have nothing under the tree with your name on it...... :(

Re: It's that time of year, what's on your Christmas list?

I'd like a few things for Christmas this year...nothing too extravagant. My parents are planning to upgrade my sister and mines sidekick3 to the new G1. Of course I'm still shocked/put off by the $25.00/internet bill associated with them. Along with that I'd like some newer clothes since most of things I own are from high school or were bought online. Other than that I'm pretty happy, I made good grades this semester and am chugging along toward the path to my first degree! W00T! I do wish I could spend Christmas with James...oh well there's always new years! Merry Christmas!

It may sound corny, but all I want for Christmas is to spend it with Spyke and the family....

Presents are nice, but we can't take them with us when we go.
