My company has about 7 openings or so in the Houston area. There are multiple locations with openings. The work is part time - 20 hours a week (sometimes more). 12.00/hour. This job is great if you are a college student.
The hours are 2:30 - 7:00 M-Th (plus an extra hour once a week for the team meeting, which varies from campus to campus)
What you would be doing is working for an afterschool program called Citizen Schools. You would be in charge of leading a class of students, helping with homework, teaching limited academic subjects, working with volunteers who teach classes, etc. It can be a demanding job, but there is a lot of fun, and it really does help students.
