Salt for a brackish tank?

I have a 20g tank and need to know how much sea salt to put in it for my brackish water puffer.

Get a refractometer and measure the specific gravity/ PPT

mix half of the full salt mixture the box tells you.  ur lookin for 1.080 or there abouts.  half the recipe for full salt and your good.  i have a thermometer that has the specific gravity measureing on it as well. t hats all you need for brack.  i got box of salt and the thermometer and salitnity reader all ill sell you cheap.

Keep in mind that many brackish water fish come from environments, like estuaries, where the salt content varies due to tides, rain, drought, etc.
When I do water changes in my brackish tanks, sometimes I add more salt, sometimes less. 8)
