watching this and thinking of my son in Iraq. He lost good friends this week when their Hum V collapsed on a bridge and flipped. Killing all of them. He was very close to one of them.

ya that episode in Bastoghn got me bad last night.

For those who enjoyed Band of Brothers, and/or anyone curious about what its like in Iraq, or at least what it was like during the invasion, watch Generation Kill. My old unit went in 2004 and those who have returned, plus some other friends and co-workers, have all said its spot-on.
My only caveat is to ask to look beyond the characters and focus on the content. As always, Hollywood puts their twist on people's personalities.
When you're done, you should watch Baghdad ER.
