feo y loco

feo y loco is a local band that plays...very "off the wall" music. They used to play every week, but now are only playing once a year, and that time is this Saturday Aug 26th @ Bubba's Burger Shack near 610 & 59 South.

I wouldn't bring youngsters, some of their lyrics are R rated.

OMG! I only looked at this post to see who else would know this phrase, and here you know the source!

My husband and I were at a New Years Eve party, probably about 10 years ago, at Dan Electros Guitar Bar and they were the opening act. We went to see Beans Barton and the Bi-Peds, who are pretty off the wall themselves, and here was feo y loco - WOW! They are crazy, and definetly not for the prudish. I especially remember the song about dropping your drawers!  

Have you ever seen Beans? It's a hoot and they play about once a month. You have to be a night owl - they play late. :musik:

You know, about adult fun and bringing youngsters. We went to see They Might Be Giants sometime last year and it was at a club and people brought their children! The concert didn't even start until 9, and it was a Thursday night!! I couldn't believe it. Not to mention that just because they made a kids album, they aren't a kids band...

The show was pretty good. No one got arrested, and that's always good.
I'll have to check out Beans next chance I get.
