Re: new rescue pup needs a name

reminds me of the little furry critters in Starwars.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

LMAO, that is too funny Ramius!

          we have:
Puppy = bichon/poodle mix, 11+ years (very cranky, aka the Queen B)
Maximo = maltese 1 1/2 yr. (and as dumb as they come)
Ike = black lab mix (not that much brighter)

I love the name Puppy, especially for a big dog!  Our 3  year old thinks Puppy is her dog's name and "puppies" are called baby dogs.  Our previous maltese was named Guess

One of my favorite dogs when I was a kid was named DAMIT.
I always cracked up when the guy that owned him would hollar "COME HERE DAMIT"

Re: new rescue pup needs a name

o.K.  I think we are going to call him Bruno. He is already showing us how hard headed he is going to be by not earing the way he should. So as long as I can keep this little guy taking a little pet replacer milk(every hour) we  will have a  little Mastiff mix.  Because of these feedings I am afraid I wont be at the next meeting but, will see what happens.

One nice things about Mastiffs and other giant breeds is they are extremely easy to housebreak (at least in my exprience had 2 English Mastiffs) and they grow FAST!
