Even with just shear man power that would be extremely difficult to do some of the stone weigh in the range of 1 ton each and you are talking about a structure with hundreds of thousands of these quarried from a place that is over a few hundred miles from the site. That would still take us an a long time to accomplish today with a work force as large as we think they had. Not to count that it is estimated that the population of Egypt as a whole was thought to be the size of Houston. With Cairo being the metropolis with only about a few hundred thousand which in today standards that is as big as a city like Waco.
