  • BirdDog and Catfish, etc.

Okay, well, over the weekend I'll be able to post some pics of my bird and my dog (not at the same time, my dog's scared to death of her) looking at the fish. But, for now, I just wanted to start a new little thread for some of the pictures that you guys have been posting of your *other* pets and your fish. Also, I didn't want Daisy's thread to go too off topic...

Oh, and the thread title was an actual pet store in Dallas, not sure if it's still there, but I've always liked the name.

Thanks! Hope to see some more pictures!

Too late - we were so far off topic we didn't even remember what we were talking about. But Ellen did a nice save for us. I will try to get a pic of Mister guarding the tank!

She's 2 years old, as of late June. So, in that picture, oh, wow, she was still a baby! Thanks, I think she's pretty cute, too!

I thought that looked like a baby-face! I also love the pic of her in the photo album.

Aww, too cute!    So, did you guys move the puffer inside? I can't tell...

Yeah, he is in a tank in my office. Unfortunately, he is rapidly outgrowing this tank and will need a larger one soon.

This is our oldest - Rusty, earning his keep about four years ago.

Aww, cute dog! How long did he allow you to keep the hat on? Ours have never let us put anything short of a collar on them.  :)

Here is my "Keeper of the Fish" Mister Buddy. He lays in front of the tank waiting for feeding time. Then when I feed them he stands up to watch. He especially likes the root decoration (on the far right) because that is where the clown loaches hide out and he loves to see them dart out - then he smacks the tank!

Mzungu, he kept it on for about 15 min. Daisymac I love the picture of Mr.Buddy, looks like a cool cat.

                            Thanks Trademan!

Did you notice anything special about Mister Buddy? Look again . . . he has no tail. He is a rescued cat. Poor baby had to have it amputated. He was a stray hanging out at an apartment complex and they think that someone slammed a  sliding patio door on his tail. He had a habit of going in and out of the peoples apts. without much notice, looking for food. He has a tiny nub, but it still wags and he chases it!

He is a very cool cat! 8)

I didn't notice that. Poor baby!  Looks like you did a good rescue job. Looks well fed, happy and content.
