Daismac, he is now 12 - getting to be a really old boy. He was 7-8 when that picture was taken.

Resurrecting an old thread.  Peanut finally stayed still while I took her picture.  She sits and lays on top my tanks all the time, protecting them from evil.  Or so she says

No pic, but the other night my goldfish were doing the spawning/chasing thing the length of my 55gal, and being new to that I sat on my stool to keep vigil for a while to make sure the female didn't get chased to death.

My Squeek (18 lb fat cat), hopped on my lap to join the vigil and I probably spent more time watching him than the goldfish.  He reminded me of a dog watching a tennis match!

                Szid,

Your Peanut is posing so pretty! She looks like a ceramic cat we used to have. Maybe she's a fish gargoyle!

I accidently taught Zoe that she could play fetch with me while I do water changes... Oops! Well this was on a fetch break! And this one (unlike my previous one) is not staged!

Zoe looks to be quite the character   .  Your angels are looking great!

She is a clown! That is the tank with my "big" angels in it. You can see, they're not scared of anything! LOL!
Here's another one, same day, making sure to get nose-prints on the glass.

Aww, too cute! I love it when my other pets are interested in my fish!

Hay boss, here's another one we need to cull.

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

One of my two black Hemmingway cats sits atop his personal water bowl....

                              Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.
